Philosophy

Operating philosophy and principles

Stronach International is proudly a Fair Enterprise Corporation. Fair Enterprise strives to strike a balance between the interests of a company's three driving forces: management, labour and capital. Fair Enterprise achieves this balance through a Corporate Constitution that gives stakeholders the right to share in the profits of the company. Our Corporate Constitution includes a number of guiding principles and predetermines how the profits are shared amongst our stakeholders.

Stronach International oversight and management of the corporate assets are exercised by a Board of Directors. The company is run on a day-to-day basis by a professional management team and the corporation is guided by a deep-seated philosophy that its businesses should provide a tangible benefit to society in addition to making a profit.

The Formula

Profit-Sharing Formula

The heart of the Corporate Constitution is a profit-sharing formula that allocates the annual profits along the following lines:

15%

Investors & Family Trust

Allocated to the investors and the Stronach family trust.

20%

Employees, Management & Directors

Divided among the company's employees, management team and members of the Board of Directors.

10%

Charity & Social Causes

Set aside for charitable purposes and initiatives supporting environmental, health, and educational causes.

55%

Reinvested & Tax

Re-invested in the company to provide for its long-term growth and sustainability, and allocated to taxes.
